Biography

At Meriwether and Tharp Elizabeth Doak focuses in the areas of divorce, child custody, modifications, contempt, adoption and uncontested divorces.

Elizabeth Doak received her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Prior to joining Meriwether and Tharp, Miss Doak worked at the East Tennessee Legal Aid advocating for disability resources. In her final year at the University of Tennessee Miss Doak also worked in the school aiding victims of domestic violence. Elizabeth Doak also studied journalism at the Northwestern University., there she was the Editor in Chief for Northwestern’s major publication, having a journalism background has allowed Miss Doak to write effectively and clearly.
